Dionisio Figueiredo Lopes is a neurosurgeon member of Brazilian Neurosurgery Society. He is a member of Brazilian Neurosurgery Academy, Head of Neurosurgery at Hospital Urgencia Otavio Lage and consultant at Hospital Urgencia Goiania and Hospital Santa Monica. He received Fellowship in Neuro-oncology at Dresden, Germany and fellowship in Advanced Techniques in Neurosurgery at Tubingen, Germany.

Professor Peter Silburn is a neurologist and world expert in the treatment and research of Parkinson’s disease. Professor Silburn was honoured for his ‘significant service to medicine as a neurologist, particularly in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases’ with appointment as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) in the 2013 Australia Day Honours. Professor Silburn is a founding member and lead clinician for the Asia-Pacific Centre for Neuromodulation, a joint initiative between The University of Queensland and St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital. Professor Silburn graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988. He commenced training in Neurology at Princess Alexandra Hospital, and completed training in Oxford at the Radcliffe Infirmary in 1995. He was subsequently the Clinical Lecturer in Neurology at the University of Oxford, United Kingdom. From Oxford, Professor Silburn went to the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm as a Research Fellow in the Department of Molecular Medicine. Professor Silburn returned to Brisbane in July, 1996 where he commenced in private practice and began his university affiliations. He became a full Professor in Neurobiology at The University of Queensland in 2006. He maintains academic affiliations with Griffith University, Queensland University of Technology and the University of Queensland.

After graduating from the medical school, Dr. AlKherayf completed his neurosurgery training at the University of Ottawa in 2010, followed by two fellowships in complex spine surgery and minimally invasive skull base surgery. As well, he graduated the Master in Epidemiology Program (The Ottawa University, 2011) and the Clinician Investigator Program (the Royall College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada).

Dr Rowell was awarded his PhD from the School of Economics, University of Queensland in 2012. His thesis tested for evidence of moral hazard in a market for automobile insurance and was supported by the Brian Gray Scholarship, 2010. Dr Rowell has since been employed as a postdoctoral research fellow in Health Economics at the Centre for Applied Health Economics (CAHE), Griffith University, and the Asia Pacific Centre for Neuromodulation (APCN), at the University of Queensland. His published research includes labour market outcomes for people living with spinal cord injury, adverse events in Australia's public hospitals, the economic costs of skin cancer and impact of stereotactic and functional neurosurgery on neurologic disease. Dr Rowell's current research foci include the economics of insurance, harm mitigation strategies for problem gamblers, and the impact of telehealth on the delivery of primary care by the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

Prof. Dr. Lumenta has been a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the INI – International Neuroscience Institute® in Hanover since June 2018. He completed his medical studies in 1976 at the University of Bonn, Germany, with the state examination and holds a medical doctorate of the same University. Prof. Dr. Lumenta continued his residency programme as a specialist in Neurosurgery via the wards in Duisburg and Düsseldorf, as well as in the Department of Neurology at the Max Planck Institute for Brain Research in Köln-Merheim, Germany. Prof. Dr. Lumenta received the board certification in 1983 by the Ärztekammer Nordrhein. He was habilitated in 1985 at the Heinrich-Heine-University in Düsseldorf, Germany, appointed as temporary C2-Professor for neurosurgery in 1986 and as Associate Professor in 1992. In 1986 Prof. Dr. Lumenta received a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital and Brigham’s Women Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA.

Dr. Ayman El-Hattab is Consultant Clinical Genetics with three American Boards: the American Board of Pediatrics, the American Board of Clinical Genetics, and the American Board of Medical Biochemical Genetics (Metabolic). Dr. Ayman El-Hattab is also an Associate Professor at the College of Medicine in University of Sharjah. Dr. Ayman El-Hattab is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics. He is also a member of the American Society of Human Genetics, the European Society of Human Genetics, the Society for the Study of Inborn Errors of Metabolism, the Society for Inherited Metabolic Disorders, and the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation.

Walter E Muller is currently Professor Emeritus at the Department of Pharmacology University Frankfurt. He got his PhD in Pharmacology at the University Mainz were he also worked as Assistant Professor until 1983 then he moved as Associate Professor to the Central Institute of Mental Health Mannheim,University Heidelberg. From 1997 to 2013, he was Full Professor of Pharmacology at the Biocenter University Frankfurt. He has received several professional awards including the Fritz Külz Preis of the German Pharmacological Society, the award in Psychopharmacology of the AGNP, he was awarded Fellowship of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and he is Honorary Member of the Austrian Society of Biological Psychiatry. He has published more than 500 papers. His h-index is 68, his, i10-index 270.

Neuropsychopharmacology

Olivier joined AFC in 2001 leading the development of technologies for continuous processes including SMB, flow chemistry and other separation techniques. Olivier is a recognized expert in the field of preparative chromatography for over 25 years. Prior to AFC, he developed SMB technology for Prochrom in France before joining Chiral Technologies Europe to run the SMB chiral separations service.
